Sub: First time On-line exam conducted by KSRTC and recruited Class-III Supervisory posts launch of Training Programme Sri.H.M.Revanna, Hon’ble Transport Minister, Sri. K. Gopala Poojary, Hon’ble
Chairman and MLA, KSRTC, Hon’ble Vice Chairman, KSRTC, Sri. S.R. Umashankar, IAS, Managing Director, KSRTC, Sri. K.Srinivas Director (Personnel & Environment) and Board of Directors of KSRTC were present during the event held at KSRTC Central Office, Bengaluru.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has published Notification No.3/2016 & 4/2016 dtd. 11.01.2016 for Direct Recruitment of 83 Class-III Supervisory posts through online from eligible candidates. As many as 10,151 candidates have applied for these posts.

In order to bring-in transparency in recruitment for these posts, online Common Aptitude Test (CAT) was conducted on 19.08.2017 in 8 Districts, 33 Examination Centres for 10151 candidates applied.

 Based on Merit of Marks, Select Lists have been published for 80 posts which include 26 women candidates. 70 candidates have reported in Central Offices on 29.01.2018 at Central Offices.
All 70 candidates are placed on one year On the Job Training. Further, Orientation Training Program has been organized on this day and training will be held for one month in three phases.
I. 10 days training program at Central Training Institute, Bangalore, regarding Introduction on Corporation/Service Rules/Office Manual/Conduct & Disciplinary Rules/Soft Skills/Communication Skills
and other subjects.
II. 10 days practical training program under the guidance of respective Heads of Departments on Roles & Functioning of the Department at Central Offices.
III. 10 days practical training program at Divisions/Regional Workshops/Depots with respect to Roles & Functioning of the Units.
The selection process for Class-III Supervisory posts is completely based on Educational Qualification marks & marks obtained in CAT Exam transparently. Brief Note on on-going recruitment is KSRTC

For Direct Recruitment of 72 various posts of Class-II Officers, Online Common Aptitude Test has been conducted & Revised Key Answers published in the Corporation website on 31.01.2018. Further, the eligible candidates in the ratio of 1:2 will be called for original document verification & the
Selections will be made purely based on Merit of Marks transparently.
For Direct Recruitment of 6 different categories of 1116 Class-III Non Supervisory posts, 1,81,789 applications have been received online and CAT Exam for these posts will be conducted shortly & selections will be made based on Merit of Marks transparently.
Under Notification No.1/2015 for Direct Recruitment of 833 posts of Drivercum-Conductor
specifically for Puttur, Mangalore & Chamaraj Nagara
Divisions. The computerized Driving Trade Test will be taken-up in this month
for 9150 candidates & selections will be made based on merit of Trade Test
marks transparently.
