NOTIFICATION
NIMHANS is conducting WALK-IN-INTEVIEW on 19.06.2015 AT 11.00 A.M to fill
one each post of “Technical Assistant” on adhoc basis for NIMHANS funded Project entitled “Self-sustaining Diagnostics Services-2014” –under Dr.Anitha Mahadevan, Prof., Department of Neuropathology & Principal Investigator. The desirous candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below are advised to appear straight away before the interview Board at the venue mentioned below,
along with their Bio-data and testimonials in original as well as set of photocopies.

2 No. of Post 1 (One)
3 Qualification BMLT with 3 years experience
4 Experience Experience in performing immunodiagnostic tests-immunoblots, and immunofluorescence
5 Desirable 1. Experience in immunochemistry.
2. Knowledge of ELISA, in situ hybridization and.
3. Basic knowledge of computers and data maintenance.
6 Maximum age limit 35 Years
7 Emoluments Rs.18,000/- P.M (Consolidated)
8 Duration of the post 6 Months
Job Description (Technician)
1.Perform immunoblots/immunofluorescence/ELISA in serum samples from immunological disorders ensuring quality control.
2.Processing of histological material, crysectioning of skin and brain and immunochistochemistry.
3.Familiarity of microphotography, powerpoint presentations.
4.Samples collection, identification, storage and retrieval of tissues as advised by the PI with accurate data entry of cases.
5.Maintenance of log books and accounts, preparation of indents.
6.Follow waste disposal procedures, in compliance with hospital guidelines, in coordination with other staff.
7. Ensure maintenance of equipment and keep the PI informed regarding the state of functioning periodically and ensure prompt repair work as and when essential.
8.Co-ordinating with clinicians and residents for skin biopsies.
9.Any other work assigned by the PI.
