Notification: Applications are invited on plain paper for the following position to work under the DBT sponsored project entitled “Creation of Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility for promotion of Biology teaching through Bioinformatics” in the P. G. Department of Biotechnology, Karnatak University, Dharwad-03, Karnatak. Position : Project assistant- 01 (post)
Title of the Project : Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility project
Emoluments : Rs. 8,000/- pm (Consolidated)
Qualification: : M. Sc in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology /Microbiology.
Preference will be given to those who have the knowledge of Bioinformatics.
Duration : 16 months
Terms and conditions:
• No. TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Selected candidate has to join immediately.
• The candidates will be informed about the date of interview by email/phone/post.
• The interviews may be held during the month of September 2012.
• The centre reserves the right to fill the positions, depending on the qualifications /
credentials of the candidates applied etc.
• The stipend / salary amount is subject to sanction of DBT, New Delhi
