TYPEWRITER:

Pay Scale: Rs. 16,000 – 29,600
Qualifications: 1. Must have passed a Degree Examination of any recognized University OR A pass in SSLC examination or equivalent examination with 5 years of experience as stenographer and 2. Senior typewriting and Senior Shorthand examination in Kannada conducted by the Department of Public Instruction or is a holder of a Diploma in Secretarial Practice with Kannada Shorthand and Kannada typewriting as optional (Elective) subjects granted by the Board of Techinical Education in Karnataka or Possesses an equivalent qualification and 3. Senior typewriting and Senior Shorthand examination in English conducted by the Department of Publich Instruction or is a holder of a Diploma in Secretarial Practice with English Shorthand and English typewriting as optional (Elective) subjects granted by the Board of Technical Education in Karnataka or possesses an equivalent qualification. 4. Should have certificate issued by a recogniszed computer training institute to the effect that he possess knowledge of computer fundamentals in addition to working knowledge of Automation tools. 5. However, preference shall be given to an employee working temporarily in KSOU on Dailywage basis/Contract basis as Literary Assistant / Data Entry Operator, who have put in such service not lessthan for a period of three years with proven records.
